Bondable Resistors
for Compensation Purposes
Made from a
number of metal foils and backed with specially-chosen and modified resin
materials, BCM bondable resistorsare designed and manufactured to possess
precision resistance for temperature-induced-error compensation or for
balance adjustment of the Wheatstone bridge circuit.
The bondable
resistors are manufactured
in a number of types in line with the compensation function and resistance.
There are a number of ways to trim the resistance, so the resistors can
be classified in fixed-, adjustable-, or combination-type according to
the trade-off of the resistance. For a correct
selection of a compensation resistor for your specific application, it
is recommended to refer first to
Resistor Coding System,
so that you would have more inside view on the features of BCM compensation
resistors.
